Be Contagious.

Yup, you read the title of this post correctly. Be Contagious! No, I’m not encouraging you to go around and wipe your running nose on your friends, but I am encouraging you to be healthy and in turn, be contagious. Healthy is contagious. Have you ever noticed that if you are out for dinner with a large group and one person orders salad, a few more follow suit. Once one person sets the tone or the culture for the table by ordering a healthy option, it is a lot harder to order to fried chicken with french fries. Or, if you opt to take the stairs vs the elevator with your co-workers, many of them will also choose the stairs.

If you are a trend setter, be that contagiously healthy person and see how many people you can get to join your movement. Or, if maybe you need a little motivation, surround yourself with healthier people and you’ll be more likely to emanate and imitate their habits.
